HAVEN’T YOU HEARD? SPREAD THE WORD!

Three phenomenal women–author, speaker and television personality, Michelle McKinney Hammond; preacher and teacher extraordinaire, Rev. Connie “CJ” Jackson; and author, preacher and United States Ambassador of International Religious Freedom, Dr. Suzan Johnson Cook–share their endorsements of Dr. Natalie’s books which are used as the curriculum text for WOWW Institute’s onsite and online courses.  To register for courses offered by the Institute, please visit www.NatalieFrancisco.com.

MICHELLE MCKINNEY HAMMOND:www.WisdomforWomenofWorthandWorship.com

“It has been saidin order to be great one should surround themselves with greatness.  Or as I would rather put it: “If you want tobe successful you whould walk with those who have already accomplished what you are trying to achieve.”  That is why I am so excited about this offering fro my dear friend, Natalie Francisco.

“Here is a woman who is doing more than talking the talk.  She is truly walking the walk.  And that walk is reflected brilliantly in the life of her family: her husband is known in the gates and respected; her children rise up and not only call her blessed but bless her in return by living lives that glorify God and are a tribute to her as a mother.  Has she earned the right to pen Wisdom for Women…?  Indeed she has!  Natalie has been a student first and a fine one at that. She has mastered the art of being a woman according to God’s design, an amazing friend, a wife who is a true “help meet,” and a mother who has guided her daughters toward their destiny effectively…whew!

“If you’re thinking to yourself: This is the type of woman I want to be then this book is for you.  Natalie shares not only from her heart and her experiences but also from the sound principles of God’s Word, which will never lead you wrong.  Warm, funny, personal and transparent-she will connect with you where you live.  You will not only see her wisdom, but you will also see yourself and the things you can glean from what she shares.

“In a time when many have abandoned the call to “teach the younger women…” Natalie Francisco emerges as a true Titus woman.  As a modern day Proverbs 31 woman, she proves we can all be the women God created us to be if we are armed with the right truths to work with.  So take the time to read, to absorb, and then apply these rich lessons to your ownlife.  But don’t just stop there.  Share the wealth with others.  Wisdom for Women of Worth and Worship is a jewel of a book that has the potential to change the world one home at a time.”

REV. CONNIE “CJ” JACKSON:        www.ParentingandPartneringwithPurpose.com

“Let the Old School principal of the “Three R’s” meet the New School Superintendent of the “Three P’s!”  Dr. Natalie Francisco in her recent literary work, Parenting and Partnering with Purpose, takes to task the public, the parish, and the parent for the role each has played in hastening the demise of quality education in our country.  Dr. Francisco is well qualified to offer this well documented critique since she is no novice to initiating cutting edge, Christocentric methodology in the classroom.  However, this book is more than a critique of an age-old problem; Dr. Natalie offers tried and true solutions.  This book is a must-read for any pastor, parent, educator, or school administrator who is serious about preparing our children to have dominion over an increasingly hostile and agnostic world.”

REV. DR. SUZAN JOHNSON COOK:                www.AWomansJournalforJoyfulLiving.com

“It was three years ago that I was introduced, by the Rev. Connie “C.J.: Jackson, to the author of this profound and timely book, Rev. Natalie Francisco.  Rarely, as female leaders in ministry, are we able to find friends and extended family who not only know how to preach, but also LIVE what they preach.  I found all of that in Rev. Nat, as we affectionately call her.  She has the whole package: family, friends, wholeness in life and in ministry.  We were the sister-friends we all longed and looked for all of our lives.  So I latched on quickly.

“Soon, we were leading one another’s services and workshops and being introduced to balanced family and life outside of the pulpit.  I was able to see the incredible ministry she had build: Women of Worth and Worship, and found that she could lead such a ministry so effectively because she IS a woman of Great Wisdom and Worth.  Thousands of women have been blessed by her leadership and her generous giving.

A Woman’s Journal for Joyful Living: Successful Steps to Holistic Health is the compilation of and manifestation of a recent workshop I was privileged to host for international Christian faith leaders: Wisdom Women Worldwide/Women in Ministry International.  It is POWERFUL.  I am especially drawn to the first chapter, FREE TO BE ME, because it sets the tone for the book.  So many women are spiritually, emotionally, and physically in bondage and don’t even know it, or some just need to give themselves permission to be free.  Fifteen minutes into the book, you will be captivated and ready to begin to do a personal life assessment.  You will be energized.  You will be charged and eager to read the remaining chapters.

“She is like Mary, a woman who is blessed and highly favored.  Her husband is blessed, her children, and her household are all blessed because she is such a blessing to others.  And you will find as you read this book that YOU are blessed just by becoming part of her audience.

“It is an honor to commend this book to you.  May the JOY of the Lord be your strength as you move closer towards JOYFUL LIVING.”

Celebrating My Friend, U.S. Ambassador Suzan Johnson Cook

Dr. Suzan Johnson Cook (also known as Dr. Sujay) is not only one of my very best friends who wrote the foreword for my latest book, A Woman’s Journal for Joyful Living, but she is now inarguably one of the most influential women in our nation and the world due to her newest appointment.  I was both humbled and honored to receive an invitation to attend the private swearing-in ceremony and reception of Dr. Sujay as Ambassador at Large for International Religious Freedom. Both occasions were held at the U.S. Department of State Building and B. Smith’s Union Station Restaurant in Washington, D.C. on June 2, 2011 for family and friends of Ambassador Sujay. The official ceremony began with a warm and personal greeting and an introduction of Dr. Sujay by Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. Her words were filled with accolades and accomplishments spanning the educational, ministerial, public policy and foreign relations experience of Ambassador Sujay – a woman who has broken glass ceilings as the first African-American woman to be ordained in the American Baptist Denomination as a pastor, the first female chaplain in New York City, and the first female President of the Hampton University Ministers Conference among other noteworthy achievements. Following Secretary Clinton’s remarks, Dr. Sujay rendered a moving address to thank those who paved the way for her among other supporters and to expound upon her new role as Ambassador to represent the interests of religious freedom on behalf of the United States around the world. The Office of International Religious Freedom has the mission of promoting religious freedom as a core objective of U.S. foreign policy. Headed by Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom, its Office Director and staff monitor religious persecution and discrimination worldwide, recommend and implement policies in respective regions or countries, and develop programs to promote religious freedom. Ambassador Sujay will report directly to Secretary Clinton and President Barack Obama. To find out more about her role and to follow her activities and travels, please connect with her on Facebook at www.facebook.com/RFAmbassador and on Twitter @IRFAmbassador. Be sure to support her with your prayers and words of encouragement as well.

2/2/11 Women’s Noonday Bible Study: A Woman’s Journal for Joyful Living

We held our very first Women’s Noonday Bible Study today, which will be held each Wednesday from 12:00 until 12:45 p.m. EST at Calvary Community Church located at 2311 Tower Place in Hampton, VA.  The lessons will also be streamed live online each week at www.ustream.com/user/DrNatalieFrancisco for those who are available to join us in other places in our community, across the country and around the world.

Today, I asked the question, “Do you have the nerve to take control of your own life internally and externally?”  Even though this is an open-ended question, please consider what you need to do to take control of the reins in your own life, as well as how you will do it and when.  Feel free to comment below to answer this question as well as to start your own journal entries in a personal notebook, iPod, iPad or Galaxy Tab, in addition to the assignments you will be asked to complete each Wednesday.  Today’s assignment was to answer the first two bulleted questions on page 30 of my latest book, A Woman’s Journal for Joyful Living, which is the resource we will be using for the next several weeks during our weekly bible study.  I would love to hear any responses and answer any questions you have as you participate in this blog, attend our bible studies in person, or watch the live video feed each Wednesday or thereafter as your schedule allows.

To purchase this transforming resource which will challenge you to inventory and assess your own life, please visit Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, BlackCBC.com or receive an autographed copy at Calvary Community Church during our noonday bible study time or after any of our weekly services.  I’m looking forward to interacting with you in person and/or online!

Sincerely,

Dr. Natalie A. Francisco

Welcome to the Official Blog of ‘A Woman’s Journal for Joyful Living’

Reading A Woman’s Journal for Joyful Living: Successful Steps to Holistic Health takes nerve as you come face-to-face with your own reality and make the necessary changes to put yourself on your own to-do list as a matter of priority. This kind of nerve is defined as the mental fortitude and unmitigated audacity to take control of your own life both internally and externally as you are challenged to utilize the mental and moral power within to transform your present state of mind, spirit and body into what it was originally designed to be in its best, brightest and most brilliant form.
